INNER SOUNDÂ MUSIC THERAPY

WHAT IS MUSIC THERAPY?
"Everyone has the ability to respond to music, and Music Therapy uses this connection to facilitate positive changes in emotional wellbeing and communication." (BAMT, 2024).
Music therapy develops therapeutic relationships through music to support people of all ages and abilities with their psychological, emotional, cognitive, physical, communicative and social needs. Music therapists are HCPC registered professionals who employ various music-based interventions to achieve therapeutic goals tailored to the individual or group. In music therapy sessions, clients may engage in activities such as music improvisation, song writing, singing and listening to music, using a variety of instruments.
"Using music in this way enables clients to create their own unique musical language in which to explore and connect with the world and express themselves." (BAMT 2024)
